Name: Fallingnight
Age: 37
Gender: Tom
Desired Clan: ForestClan
Desired Position: Deputy
Personality: There's an expression that goes: think before you speak. This is one thing that Fallingnight has never quite mastered. Either that or he doesn't really think much of the phrase. He prefers to say what's on his mind, never realizing that his thoughts aren't always the kindest or most careful things. He's hurt many feelings and said many stupid sentences, but somehow good tends to come of it. Everyone knows that he is the one to ask if you want an honest opinion, not just someone trying to make you feel better about yourself.
Despite his overly truthful tenancies, Fallingnight has a very even temper. This is very good - if he was easily angered, he'd most likely make no efforts to check any violent actions. He is good with kits because of his patience, but doesn't think of their feelings and tells the hard truth when they ask him how good their fighting skills are. He was a great mentor - his apprentice learned how to face the truth, no matter how difficult. This is something Fallingnight does himself: look the facts directly in the eye and accept them for what they are. This is the characteristic that got him picked for deputy.
It is not hard to get Fallingnight's friendship. He enjoys talking to other cats like him: frank and down-to-earth, but not temperamental. He is a good cat to have on your side, but he will not just agree with a friend. He has is own opinions and it is not easy to influence them without a good reason. This is not to say hat he's stubborn - no, just resolute. He smiles when he's in a good mood and frowns when he's not. The one thing is, when he acts like a friend you know he is one. He never tells a secret that isn't his; he has a strong moral rule not to tell something that another cat has trusted him with.
Physical Description: Fallingnight is a dark-colored cat, his fur all dusk shades. He could be considered to have a colorpoint pattern, with his face, tail and paws several shades closer to black than the rest of him. His body is a rich milk chocolate, with a dark layer underneath. The second hue becomes more prominent on Fallingnight's paws, tail, and face, where the light fades tou entirely and leaves ebony behind.
Swimming in the midnight sky of his face, Fallingnight's orbs are like twin moons. A vividly contrasting pale yellow, they shed light even in the darkest of fur that surrounds them. When the tom hides, camouflaging perfectly into the after-dusk forest, he has to be careful to close his eyes - they would give away his position immediately. They are the only brightness of his face; all the rest of his features are a single color. His ears, nose and mouth share the black of his point fur.
Fallingnight has the thickest fur imaginable. All sorts of dirt get caught in the fluffy tangle, and he has to wash his pelt often. Unlike many long-haired felines, his coat has no intentions of lying flat. Instead it puffs out proudly. Though his fur makes him look stocky of build, Fallingnight is an averageshape and size. He is very normally proportioned - except, of course, the tufts that make him look like a heavyset giant.

History: Fallingnight has a very normal past. His parents were both in ForestClan and he has never had reason to affiliate with any other Clan - all that he loves and has ever loved is in ForestClan. When he was a kit, there were few others in the nursery. He didn't mind because it meant he usually got to play with all the apprentices, which he loved to do. There was nother more exciting than when was bored out of his mind and some apprentices had nothing better to do than help amuse him. He passed through his kit years and, likewise, his apprentice years only with those not in his age group. He interacted almost entirely with apprentices when he was a kit and kits when he was an apprentice.
Fallingpaw was assigned to a mentor known as one of the toughest warriors around. He was a little scared his first day but quickly learned that it wasn't too hard to get on the warrior's good side: all you had to do was try hard and not complain. So he got into the habit of just saying whan he meant and not adding the little whatevers that most apprentices talked about - he never once said a word about being tired, instead focusing on why he wasn't getting a good night's sleep. He learned a lot and learned it quickly, and was soon as good as some of the young warriors, if not better. It wasn't too long before he was made into a warrior himself.
His parents lived for a long time, longer than most cats. They became elders and died when he was a warrior, several moons after he got his name. He was very sad, but he had known for a little while that they would not make it through the leaf-bare - both had fallen tragically ill with white-cough. He grieved for a moon or two, but continued with his life. He knew that they were dead, and why not just accept the facts? He mentored several apprentices in the same style as he himself had learned and they grew into fine warriors. No one was surprised when, after a Deputy died in battle, it turned out the new deputy was to be Fallingnight. IC:
