Caracalpaw peeked into the leader's den. She frowned as she saw only darnkness. Of course, she didn't want to pad in and step on her leader's tail or anything if she even was in there! "Jadestar? Are you in here?" Caracalpaw meowed quietly, squinting into the darkness. unfortionately, her eyes made out no individual shapes. "Please, Jadestar are you in here? I need to talk with you!" Caracalpaw sat down at the den's entrance, waiting for an answer, if there would be one. She began grooming herself as she waited. She was nervous though, for absolutely no reason.

Two flashes of green lit as the ForestClan leader blinked and lifted her head. She was surprised to see Caracalpaw near the entrance of the cave. She stood and pushed aside a dangling fern to reveal the cool light of the morning filtering in from above. "Come in Caracalpaw. What can I do for you?" Jadestar sat with her tail neatly wrapped around her paws.

Caracalpaw padded in, relieved that her leader was in the den. She sat down comfortably. "Jadestar, It's about time for my warrior ceremony, don't you think?" Caracalpa meowed curiously. She absolutely loved using the word 'think', which was her davorite thing to do. "Sunfeather hasn't been keeping up much with my training, but I've trained myself pretty well, I think."

It was an odd request coming from an apprentice, but it was a fair question. However, she wasn't going to let Caracalpaw receive her warrior ceremony without having an assessment. "It's a fair request, but you will need to prove to me the skill that you claim to have. I haven't a doubt, but it is standard for an apprentice to undergo a test." Jadestar smiled. She licked her chest fur and shook her pelt. "I will give you the assessment, and we will see if you a ready."

"Jadestar, not to intrude, but wouldn't a leader like you use the word 'manditory' rather than that so unstylish word 'standard'?" Caracalpaw meowed, smirking playfully. "But it would be wonderful to have I disagreeessment! Also, it's foggy out, so it will challenge me more!" Caracalpaw's smile brimmed to each side of her face. She had to admit, she was truly exited that she would be a warrior soon. But what about Mixpaw?

Slightly taken aback by the apprenctice's suggestion, she simply stated, "Standard means a usual procedure, whilest mandatory seems to have a forceful aire to it." Her eyes darkened. "I know what I say, and you best not be correcting an elder cat as such or you might get your ears clawed off." Jadestar pawed at Caracalpaw's ear playfully and smiled. With finality, she added, "Your assessment will begin at sunhigh, be prepared."

"I'm ready now, Jadestar. I've been ready since I came here from those stinky twolegs." Caracalpaw meowed assuringly, standing once again. She always had an issue with staying still for a long period of time, and she always had to be on the move it seemed. She didn't mind her question being put off, after all it was somewhat rude, now that she thought about it. "So where wll I disagreeessment be held, then?"

Jadestar's throat thundered with a deep growl. "You will begin when I say. Not whenever's best for you." The leader's fur bristled on the back of her neck. "If you are to become a warrior, then you must learn to respect your elders. As for the location of your training, you will be brought to unfamiliar territory and your assessment will begin." The spirited apprentice would have to learn her place before she could become a full-fledged warrior. Jadestar let her fur relax as she stood to face Caracalpaw. "Sun-high," she said sharply as she brushed against the apprentice and left the den.

Caracalpaw trembled for a moment, and felt like her paws were stuck to the den's ground. Her eyes began to water a bit. I didn't mean it... Caracalpaw thought to herself. I was trying to say I've always been ready.. But Caracalpaw's face became bold again. I will not take heed to her careless leadership. If she cared, she would've told Sunfeather to stop slacking off with my training... If she were a good leader, she wouldn't need to get mad at me... When she was done thinking it through, Caracalpaw padded out of the den, tail high.

"Arrogent fool," Jadestar muttered to herself as Caracalpaw stalked out of her den. Her time will come. Her thoughts boiled with anger, but slowly mellowed as she slid back into her nest. The apprentice gave her quite the challenge but she'd eventually learn. They all do. The flustered she-cat let her head rest on her paws as she pondered the future of her clan.
OOC: Make sure you are spelling it correctly. Assessment. 4 's's
