Name:
Flashclaw
Age:
Twenty-eight moons
Gender:
Tom
Desired Clan:
ForestClan
Desired Position:
Warrior
Personality:
Though he is mature and caring now, when Flashclaw was an apprentice, he was wild and rambunctious. Although he could be seen as slightly annoying, he was a truly kind and considerate cat. He cares for his Clan more than almost anything, and would die for PastureClan in an instant. He can be quiet now that he's grown out of his kit-ish stage, but he will still on occasion let loose and be wild.
Physical Description:
A flame-colored tabby with darker tan stripes, Flashclaw is lithe and small. His eyes are a deep golden amber, the color of maple sap. At a slight joke, they sparkle in a amusement. The tip of his tail is brown ((not in pic)).
Picture:
History:Flashclaw had a hard kit hood. His mother died shortly after he was born, and his father was too consumed by grief to pay much attention to his kits. His father was killed in a battle when they were still kits, barely a moon after their mother died. They grew up with the Clan as their family, which instilled a great love and loyalty to his Clan in Flashclaw. He had a sister too, Lightpaw, and was very close to her. She was quite a bit more reserved than he was, which led him to be the wild apprentice he was, as if to make up for her lack of what he felt was enthusiasm. They did go their separate ways--she took the path of DreamClan, he took the path of a warrior.
Tragedy struck again when his sister was mistaken for a warrior on the battlefield. He took Lightheart's death hard, and did not come out of his den for some days. Many in his Clan thought that this must be the final blow, that no cat could survive this much pain. However one day he emerged from his den. His fur was ragged and he looked a little unsteady on his paws, but he had a determined light in his eyes. Though none know for certain, it is suspected his sister visited him from DreamClan.
IC:
The moon had barely set as Flashclaw stumbled out of his den, weak, weary, changed. A far away glance would give the impression he was a cat that had given up hope and care for himself. And if it had been one night earlier, that would have been true. But not now.
" Hey, it's Flashclaw!"
"Flashclaw, are you okay?"
"Someone get him some fresh-kill!''
The stars were now fading softly, blurring on the edge of dawn. He turned to the rising sun, a fierce light in his eyes. It was a sight to behold as he stared at the vanishing night, watching darkness turn to day, He set his mind, spirit, and soul on the feeling he felt now. He had seen his sister in his dreams just now, and had begged her to take him back to DreamClan with her. She had told him no, the Clan needed him more than ever. She told him never to lose his will to live, or else he would become the broken cat his father had been. Live for the Clan that needs you, she whispered. It may turn out they cannot survive without you...
And from that moment on, Flashclaw knew he would dedicate his life to the Clan.
