Oakpaw walked quietly through the plains, everything was still and silent. His eyes stared at the ground not looking around him or in front to see where he was going. It doesnt matter anyway where im going...my paws lead me and thats where i'll end up he sighed in his mind. Oakpaws dark brown paws where specked with dew from the chilly drops of water that covered the grass. His eyes were dull as usuall not hinting at any emotion as he walked slowly.

A lithe, pale shape padded behind Oakpaw, making sure that the she-cat didn't approach him enough so that he could hear or scent her. Where was he going? He was just plodding along like those few horses in the barn when they escaped. Mirrorpaw sighed. She'd decided to show herself. Oakpaw? What are you doing?

Oakpaw head turned to see the cat and it quickly bowed at the sight of the other apprentice. He shrugged his shoulders and didnt look up at the other heatherclanner. His eyes stayed foxed on the grass below just like when he was walking.

Mirrorpaw raised a brow. Oakpaw! What's wrong? She padded towards the silent apprentice. Really, it could be annoying, his timidness. Her eyes rolled just a bit in their sockets, and as her paws moved slowly, she raised her tail to wave it in front of Oakpaw's muzzle. Er, hello? Anyone there?
OOC-they could fall in love even if she's med cat apprentice.

ooc: ok Oakpaw shrugged once again he hadnt said anything in months and nothing was going to change that. He looked up at the other apprentice but quickly snapped his head back down and watched a small bug crawl quietly through the plain.

Mirrorpaw rolled her eyes. She would make him make a noise, if she had to. Say something. Unless you want me to force you to. She narrowed her eyes. Her tail now lashed back and forth.

Oakpaw shook his head no and continued to watch the bug. I feel like a bug....so quiet and able to be pushed around or squashed by anyone he sighed in his mind thoughts flipped their way through his mind but he ignored most of them.

Mirrorpaw's eyes were now merely slits. All right. You'll make a noise. Believe me. She turned around, as if to leave, only to flip back around and leap onto Oakpaw, quick as a flash. In a second she had him pinned down. Medicine cats can fight, too. Now, say something before I unsheathe these! Her words were hissed, and she glared into Oakpaw's eyes as she raised a paw in the air, extracting a shiny, sharp claw.

He looked up at her sadness filled his eyes and clouded other emotions. He shook his head no slowly but didnt make any move to fight back. His mouth didnt even open except for once to breath in a deap gust of wind.

Mirrorpaw scrambled off of Oakpaw. She was beginning to worry. Was he mute? Had something happened to his vocal cords? His tongue? Oakpaw...are you all right?

Mirrorpaw's fur fell flat. She sighed in relief. At least he could speak. The problem was that he didn't like to. Though she didn't know why. Oakpaw. Why don't you talk?

Mirrorpaw's eyes widened. Her tail fell still. I'm...sorry. Her words faltered as something seemed to form in her throat, choking her, choking her, until she couldn't breathe anymore. Her sensitivity was sometimes a weakness. Tears let loose, and she blinked. She moved closer to Oakpaw. She would've wanted you to...protect your Clan. And be happy. And talk.

"I cant...be happy....not until I leave....for starclan" He meowed sadly. A mouse scurried and stopped right at his paws but Oakpaw didnt even move an inch to try and catch it he knew he wouldnt ever become a warrior the way he was being but it didnt matter anymore.
