The wind blew through the camp, making the young apprentice shiver slightly. Leafpaw was though used to the wind around here, but it still gave her the chills at times. The tabby she-cat's eyes were glued to the camp entrance for no reason. She was part hoping that someone to Talk to or play with would enter through the heather so she wasn't as bored as she was at the current time. Leafpaw got to her small white paws and padded over to the fresh kill pile, grabbing a rabbit. She had spent all morning hunting and hadn't eaten for three days. Leafpaw carried the rabbit over to her grassy patch and began it eat the small rabbit slowly.

A lithe shape watched the apprentice from under the tumble of rocks. The cat lay in shadow so no other could see where her gaze led. Beautiful ocean-colored eyes blinked as her apprentice began to eat the rabbit. Strong muscles rippled under a silver pelt as Silkstar got up. She emerged a bit from the shadows of her den entrance, so her head and shoulders were now visible. Leafpaw. After you're done, I'd like you to come over here, please.

The small apprentice looked up at Silkstar and dipped her brown head softly. Leafpaw quickly finished the rabbit off and got slowly to her white paws. The young she-cat moved softly towards the leaders den, stopping at the entrance to just glance around. 'Yes Silkstar,'She meowed softly, padding unsurly just inside the entrance.

\--Silkstar--/ She dipped her head at her apprentice. Welcome, dear one. She beckoned Leafpaw out into the sunlight. We haven't trained for a while. How about some battle training, or some hunting? Your pick! Her eyes sparkled, and her tail waved excitedly.

The apprentices green eyes lit up with excitment as she smiled broadly. 'Hunting Please Silkstar,' Leafpaw purred moving forwadr to where she was beconned to. The light brown tabby gave a small purr, her eyes lit up with a playful surge of energy. 'Now?' She asked, sitting down as her white claws dug down into the soil under her paws before retracting back into her snowy white paws.

Silkstar nodded. Yes. It's a beautiful day, and the right time too--almost sunhigh. We'll go to the Twin Hills. The Twin Hills were the best hunting spot in all of HeatherClan territory. Rabbits, mice, a small stream for fish, voles, and birds. She waved her tail towards the camp exit. You ready?

The sun was bright against the green optics, the rays bouncing off of them. She yawned, her white muzzle opening. She streatched, her tortoiseshell tabby fur was still messy but she didn't care. Rosethorn shook herself and then sat back down. Today looked as though it was going to be wonderfully pleasent. She could hear birds chirping in the distance and kits playing in the Nursury. She licked her muzzle and got up, noticing Silkstar and Leafpaw. She padded over to them and bowed her head respectfully to her Leader. Good morning Silkstar. Is there anything that you want for me to do for the day? she asked. Of coarse she knew what to do but she was just making sure. .+.Deepriver.+.Deep, clear blue eyes opened as she tiredly got up. Shaking her head, she padded over to Mirrorpaw's nest and meowed gently Mirrorpaw, time to get up. Though, her bodie was protesting from being up, she forced herself to stay awake and get going for the day today. She walked over to the entrance of her Den and sat there, waiting for Mirrorpaw to get up and watched as Leafpaw, Silkstar and Rosethorn talked amongst them selves.[/ul]

Silkstar glanced around as Rosethorn arrived. You know what to do--make sure everything is all right when the dawn patrol is back. Take out the sunhigh patrol, and have another cat lead a hunting patrol. Stock up the pile. And could you assess one of the apprentices? I'll be busy assessing Leafpaw, she added in a soft voice so Leafpaw wouldn't hear. I think that's it. She dipped her head in farewell and padded off towards the camp entrance, flicking her tail at Deepriver along the way. Leafpaw, come.
Darkness was replaced by the sea, a swirling blue-green surface. A black hole shrunk in the middle as it adjusted to the ray of light beaming in. Ugh....leave me alone. Then suddenly she snapped up, causing stars to pop up all around her and her paws to wobble. A starry image floated in front of her. Mirrorpaw was still stuck in her dream. A StarClan cat had come to her. Warned her about the upcoming leaf-bare. The only thing was...why hadn't they told Deepriver? Her eyes narrowed in thought. Then she spotted her mentor sitting in front of the den, outlined against the burning ultraviolet rays. Mirrorpaw rushed over to her mentor, the sun almost blinding her eyes. She blinked as she skidded to a stop in front of her mentor--back to the fiery ball of fire in the sky, of course. Deepriver!

Leafpaw dipped her head and got to her white paws, her eyes watching Silkstar for a moment. 'I'm Ready Silkstar,' she mewed softly, moving to the camp entrance.

Silkstar nodded. All right, then, come on! She headed quickly out of camp, tail waving to Leafpaw as a signal for the young she-cat to hurry up.
OOC-wanna start the thread?
