The sun shone down warmly on the ravine as the large grey tom made his way down the rocks and trees. Silentnight was just a cat that sat there most of the time, mucking about and hunting in secret. He was a medicine cat and Medicine cat's wern't ment to Hunt for the clan. They healed and checked every cat but, he did love hunting. Silentnight stopped on a small cliff and scented the air, spotting a mouse sitting on the rocks. The tom moved forward with swiftness and grace that was ilsnet to ever animal around. He lept, sinking his teeth into the unaware mouse before lifting it up and giving a purr as the fresh blood filled his jaws. he sat doiwn on the rock, sitting the mouse to his paws and sighed. Silentnight glanced around and spotted the small bush of juniper berries that he was looking for. The medicine cat got to his paws and softly picked off enough berries for his stores.

Birchstar's light green optics cast around camp, watching for any activity. It was one of those days in which nothing seemed to be happening. It was like the entire camp had gone into solstice. Birchstar didn't really mind, but it was rather disconcerting at times. Well, we might as well enjoy ourselve's while we can. She thought gloomily to herself. What with the cold seasons approaching.
Her light green pools passed the warriors den and rested on the medicine cat's. Seeing Silentnight invigorated Birchstar. Finally some sign of activity. Not really, but it was something. Hello, Silentnight. She meowed in her usual soft gentle meow. What are you up to?

A silvery, lithe cat padded up to the pair, yawning. Hello, she mewed, her angular, small head dipping in respect towards the two cats. It felt kind of awkward, speaking, in this entire, whole silence that swallowed the camp this morning. But it wasn't really a bad silence....just calm. But Flowingbrook felt like she was disturbing the peaceful scene.

The grey tom's ears pricked up at the leader and warriors greetings and he turned to give them both a small smile. 'Morning Birchstar, Flowingbrook,' he mewed in his softly, barely heard voice, leaving the berries where they were and moving to the entrance of his den. Silentnight's pale amber eyes flickered slightly as he scanned the clearing. 'Not Much Activity Today is there?' He meowed, sitting down softly on the ground.

Birchstar sighed openly, her light green optics slightly down cast. No, not particularly. Birchstar flicked her tail at the medicine cat in a friendly manner. I'm glad to see you though, out and about.

Silentnight smiled sheepishly, looking down at his paws and giving a flick of his ears. 'Um Birchstar, If You Don't Mind, Well, I'm A Bit Bored Here In The Camp, Do You Think I Could Go Do Some Hunting?' he meowed softly, feeling like an apprentice talking to his mentor. The grey tom's ears flicked slightly towards the camp entrance and back, his amber gaze focued on his small paws.

Birchstar smiled warmly, her light celery green optics bright. Yes, yes of course you can. We need more prey what with the cold seasons coming down on us. Take an apprentice with you, Silentnight. They all look bored.
